Christmas Food & Drink Tasting and Networking Event 2017: Review
GM Events hosted another fantastic event on Monday evening at the quirky and cosy Micro-pub, MK Biergarten.
As well as Fashion Shows and Women in Business events, GM Events hosted a Food & Drink Tasting event to support sister company GEM MEDIA and their clients.
The Food & Drink was truly delicious! A very special thank you to Award Winning Chef of the year; Eat with Spencer, Brazilian Chocolate by Atelier The Brigadeiro, Home distilled Gin by Willow Tree Gin and Christmas fruit cake & gingerbread biscuits by La Belle Cake Company for providing us with yummy samples throughout the evening. We were all pleasantly full on festive treats by the end!
It was great to get together with local business owners and network in an intimate venue, which felt so Christmassy with Christmas songs, decorations and comfortable seating. Thank you Franzi at MK Biergarten for helping us co-ordinate a great event.
At 6pm our guests started to arrive and were welcomed with a Prosecco reception. The bar was also open for other drinks.
Backstage Chef Spencer kept supplying the canapés and we had the pleasure of trying Chorizo and Pancetta pigs in blankets with roasted Camembert and fig chutney, Spicy prawns on rice crackers with mango and avocado crush, Chicken liver pate crostini with plum and orange jam, Sage and apricot stuffing balls with Cranberry Mayo, Wensleydale toasts with onion chutney, Mincemeat and cranberry tartlets, Mini white chocolate and freeze dried raspberry cheesecakes.
Milton Keynes Fashion Brand Kooky Soul also made an appearance with their sparkly Christmas dresses.
